Our access to the church parking lot is off of Newstead Rd. Make your way along the drive and as you get to the parking lot, stay to the right and make your way along the front of the parking lot past the church. We have plenty of guest parking on the far side next to the fenced area right in front of the entry where there will be plenty of people to greet you with a handshake and a warm smile and welcome you to Beach Beacon.
Jesus isn't concerned with your clothing and neither are we. You will find that most people dress comfortably. Our pastor preaches in jeans and a nice shirt. We are more concerned with your heart than your clothing. If you feel led to wear a 3-piece suit, by all means wear it, but if you are more casual you will find that you will fit right in, as most of our people wear casual attire. Don't let clothing be a stumbling block to being in church, however, we do ask that whatever you wear be modest in appearance.
We love kids here at Beach Beacon. We believe that our kids are the church now, not in the future. We make children a priority and take their safety seriously as well. Our volunteers have all been through a background check and our check-in process makes sure they go home with you and no one else. Our kids check-in station is in the breezeway on the way in to the church. If this is your first time, we will have someone there to help you login in and get your kids to the appropriate room. During Sunday School we have nursery and classes for all ages. During the worship hour, just bring your children to the service with you and chilrden through 3rd grade will be dismissed to Childrens Church after the music. The choice is yours, you can worship as a family, or allow our volunteers to love on your kids, that is totally up to you! We also offer a full nursery for both our small group time and worship serive. We have you covered at Beach Beacon!
Our services are upbeat and contemporary in style. We generally open the service with a few songs and a greeting from the pastor. Then the pastor preaches verse by verse through the scriptures with a time of surrender for us to respond to the message. Our services last about 1hr and 15mins, but can be a little less or a little more. Come find out how welcoming and inviting this church family can be!
We gather for small groups at 9:00am on Sunday mornings on campus. We have classes for nursery age through adulthood. At 10:00 we break from our small groups and have a church wide Donut Fellowship and then we worship together at 10:30am. Our service is an 1hr 15min to 1hr 30min.
